The Order Management Representative is responsible for handling all aspects of the order entry process on a day-to-day basis.


RESPONSIBILITIES
· Process purchase orders received through customer portals, fax or intranet accurately and promptly. Document and communicate unique production, shipping and accounting specifications on sales order
· Accurately interpret, translate and process customer orders for assigned order types
· Contact customer and resolve any issues pertaining to purchase order or delivery requirements
· Prioritize work load and delivery requirements while maintaining exceptional customer support
· Accountable for accurate processing of all transactions
· Modify orders as required based on customer's changing requirements
· Assign work-order #s as needed and release orders to manufacturing
· Ability to process and generate credit card orders
· Communicate special requirements of an order with Operations and Account Representative
· Work closely with Accounting on pre-pay and credit hold orders
· Proactively provide feedback on system and process challenges and/or opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency of communication
· Assist and support all sales department functions to enable JMC to achieve monthly/annual sales goals
· Process customer complaints and RMA's
· Process requests for quotations
· Perform other duties as identified or assigned
· Adhere to and engage in the Success Factors

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience. Some college preferred
· 2+ years working in a customer service or data processing environment, preferably in a dedicated support role

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers
· Effective analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and recognize the impact to the business and customer 
· Attention to detail and accuracy - professional attitude and strong service orientation
· Highly self-motivated with the ability to meet scheduled deadlines in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
· Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
· Working knowledge of computer systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft office products
· Energetic and enthusiastic team player
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
